3rd Annual Little New Smyrna 500 in New Smyrna Beach, FL

The Finishline Quarter Midget (QM) School started in April of 2002 to meet the growing needs of qualified instruction in the sport of QM racing. A number of FinishLine graduates competed in the 3rd Annual Little New Smyrna 500 in New Smyrna Beach, FL. This year's event boasted over 175 entries with drivers attending from all over the country.

The event schedule was run January 1st and 2nd, 2004. Points are awarded for all the finishes with the final lineup for the features being determined by an average of points earned. The final features were run on Friday, January 2, 2003.

Nine Finishline QM Drivers raced all the way into the A Main, which is the Grand Finale race of the event.

Tim Sozio finished 2nd in the B-Main and worked his way through traffic to WIN the Junior Novice Division!

Thomas Warnick took home top honors in the Junior Honda Division! Corey Drier won the B-Main and worked his way through traffic to finish 2nd in the A-Main.
With over 30 drivers in the Junior Honda division; Lane Laughlin, Adam Owens, and Critter Saile put on a valiant effort but did not fare as well.

Kyle Cencerik took home 2nd in the Sr. Novice Division. Cole Flethcer won the B-Main and went on to finish 6th in the A-Main. Mary Claire Goodrich finished 8th.

Our Senior Honda drivers were up against some fierce competition!

Zack Donatti went on to take 4th in the A-Main with Tyler Courtney 10th. Dustin Toliver was caught up in a wreck in the C-Main and did not advance.

Austin Howell, recently moved up to the Heavy Honda Division and Heavy GX 160, finished a respectable 7th in both divisions.

Our Light GX 160 drivers unfortunately did not advance to the A-Main.
