FinishLine Quarter Midget School Instructors
Michael and Kristal Loescher have been teaching QM racing for years. Due to the hectic FLRS schedule we cannot say until class which instructor will be teaching the class. Both are very qualified instructors. At the last minute Mike may be called out of town for a setup or coaching session with the Stock Car drivers. If this should happen then Kristal will teach the QM class. Kristal's main objective, when not instructing, is to record the students lap times and write down comments to be used by Mike as he's debriefing the student. As we say the stop watch doesn't lie, it will show if your "line" is perfect. The time sheets are passed out to each student at the end the "lesson".

MIKE LOESCHER, Chief Instructor

Mike is a former NASCAR modified driver from upstate New York. He started racing at the age of 16, and continued to race professionally for 15 years before moving to Florida. Mike has had an impressive racing career. He has been credited with seven track championships and over 130 victories to his name. As Chief Instructor of the school, Mike Loescher brings more than 30 years of success and championship racing to the FinishLine Quarter Midget Racing School. As you can see, Mike is a very talented person and is one of the greatest assets to the school.

KRISTAL LOESCHER, Instructor

Kristal has been involved in racing for many years. She started out as the crew chief on Mike's "all girl pit crew." Up until November of 1987, Kristal had never raced in actual modified competition. As the Big school's first student, Kristal's first year was an impressive one. Of the 73 races she entered, she had 6 feature wins, 52 top five finishes, 13 heat race wins and was second in the modified point championship.
